What is the CSCA?
The China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA) is an entrance test for international undergraduates, developed by the China Scholarship Council (CSC). It creates a standardized benchmark for Chinese universities to evaluate whether applicants are academically ready for degree study.
Beginning with the 2026 intake, the CSCA score report becomes a mandatory document for undergraduate applications to Chinese Government Scholarship universities. By 2028, it is expected to be mandatory for ALL international undergraduate applicants.
CSCA Exam Structure
